Bridals at The Waterstone

One of the more exciting parts of a wedding is picking out and wearing a gown. A lot of girls dream about what their dresses will look like and to finally put it on is an amazing experience. Unfortunately, your wedding only lasts a day (usually). This is why I’m a big fan of booking a session for bridals before your wedding day. Here are a few reasons:

You get a trial run

Let’s face it, every woman wants to feel like her most perfect self on her wedding day. If you decide to take bridals before the wedding, you get to see everything come together to make sure it’s exactly as you envisioned: hair, makeup, jewelry, bouquet, the dress, etc. If something isn’t what you were hoping for or maybe your heels are little too uncomfortable, you have time to make changes before the big day rolls around.

It saves time on wedding day

When your wedding is here, you’re going to be taking photos just about all day. With the bridesmaids, family, your new hubby, on and on and on. If you do a session separately for bridals, that’s a whole lot of time on your wedding day that you won’t need to block off for bridal portraits. Of course you’ll still take some at your wedding, no questions asked, but they won’t take nearly as long. And you get to have more time with your man!

Creative outlet

Since this would be a session separate from your wedding, you can get creative! You can choose a whole new location and even give it a theme. The possibilities are endless. A popular theme that’s been going around the last few years is Bridgerton-inspired bridals and weddings.

There are so many reasons why it’s a good idea to have a bridal session, but I think the best reason is because it’s FUN!
