I remember the first time I met Shayrea and Jeff. We met for dinner at Panera Bread to discuss their wedding plans. We ended up chatting for about 3 hours and in that amount of time we talked a little about their wedding, but ended up just chatting about life.
I left from Panera feeling like these two were family, and they are family to me. I always tell Brooke about each of my brides. She always knows a little bit about them before their wedding day. She loves to hear their stories and she couldn’t wait to meet Shayrea and Jeff, because they already felt like family to her too!
Shayrea and Jeff were married on October 1st at Grace Meadows Farm, located in Jonesborough TN. Shayrea and Jeff chose this venue because it just felt like home to them. The owners of this venue are about like Brooke and I. They consider their couples family and they are so accommodating.
One thing Shayrea and I discussed before her wedding was her relationship with her grandmother. I know this exact relationship because I had it with mine. When Shayrea met her grandmother for the first time before walking down the isle. We were there to capture that moment.
I can tell you that after every wedding this year I have learned something new about myself. In a way, I think God speaks to me through each Bride we serve. After Shayrea’s first look with her grandmother she hugged me and we both held it each other and cried. I know her grandmother is very sick and what Brooke and I captured for Shayrea and Jeff will be a beautiful thing to remember.
Brooke and I left this wedding with hearts that were full. There’s times we go about our days and we don’t know if we are serving the right purpose. If you take a moment and listen to that still small voice. God will speak to you in ways you never imagined.
Shayrea and Jeff, thank you both so much for letting me be a part of your life. I truly love you both and I wish you both forever happiness in your marriage. Many blessings to you two.
With love,
Michelle
