Deciding on a location for this session was a little bit hard. There’s so many places we could go! The possibilities were endless. Julia and Zac are both in the medical field and they travel for work. They both live in North Carolina, so it was fitting to do their engagement session there.
Zac recommended Max Patch to me, and after doing a little research I thought it was perfect for their session. I absolutely love the drive to max patch it was easy and the scenery was so pretty from the interstate.
When I arrived on the road that led to Max Patch I quickly realized I need to invest in a four wheel drive ha ha. There’s been several sessions this year that I’ve really needed one! I call my car the little go-cart, it’s never failed me, and it didn’t let me down here either.
The road was about 30 minutes to travel on and it was curvy, bumpy, and I saw a bear, like it ran out in front of my car!!!! Don’t worry it was just a baby bear… After arriving I realized I had no signal, so I began to panic! How would I ever find Julia and Zac! Believe it or not there were people everywhere on Max Patch!
Thankfully we found each other after they hiked up the mountain thinking I would be there waiting when I was waiting at the bottom. They were troopers making the climb twice, and now I know there’s no signal and we should meet at the sign!
These two were AMAZING and they rocked out their session, and this dress! I love her blush sequin dress!! Max Patch was totally worth the drive, the bear, and the lack of signal. I could have cried over their pictures when I got them back from Photovision!
Julia and Zac, I had so much fun with you two and I can’t wait to be a part of your wedding day!
