Hello Fresh Review
Y’all I stink at cooking! I’m horrible at it! The only thing good I can make is anything related to sugar. If you want a cake baked I’m your gal! I’m so bad at cooking the real deal, I’ve never heard Dustin say, please make that again!
My friend Allison introduced me to Hello Fresh a few months ago (thank you Allison). I’m obsessed with it, so obsessed I think it’s blog worthy! I know many others out there that can’t make a decent tasting meal. I feel your pain in all the ways, so that’s why I’m sharing this today!
Hello Fresh has two different meal options, vegetarian and meat. We do the vegetarian option (click here to read all about the vegetarian adventure, plus a nacho recipe that is pretty yummy).
What I like about Hello Fresh
I like that I don’t have to go to the store! Especially right now when half the state of Tennessee has the flu! Those shopping carts are gross, and I always seem to get the one on it’s last wheel. You know the kind of shopping cart I’m talking about, one wheel just keeps spinning and I end up riding the whole trip on three wheels with occasional halts, because the wheels have something caked on the bottom! Can you tell I’m not a fan of grocery shopping!
I also really love that I’m making things I never thought I would cook. Weird in a good way things! I’m sure the meat option is more adventurous as well! I love how everything is packaged together, and the recipes are on nice cardstock that you can save later! I’ve started my own little Hello Fresh cookbook out of them!
Sure, all the meals aren’t amazing. I’m being honest with that, but for the most part I have loved most of them, and that includes Dustin and Brooks as well! That is saying a lot, because they aren’t on the no meat wagon!
I think it’s worth a shot for sure anyway. If you would like to see what all the fuss is about click here and use promo code JM6L7X to get $40 off your first order!
Please note that I got crafty and took pictures ha ha. I was literally standing on my old farmhouse table in our kitchen praying that I wouldn’t fall and break my table! I’m happy to say that we survived!
P.S. The pot/pan skillet thing is AMAZING!! If you’ve registered for your wedding add one of these to it! It’s by Calphalon, and it’s the most magical non stick cookware I’ve ever tried! Everything melts off when you rinse! Also, this type of pot/pan skillet (I don’t even know what to call it) works wonders for all of us that are a little messy in the cooking department! Yes, they are a little pricey, but TJ Maxx and Ross have them sometimes on sale! Go register for them if you haven’t! You’ll be thankful that you did!
With love,
Michelle
