Sunset Rock Chattanooga TN Engagement Pictures
I got connected with Marisa through one of my brides for next year, Shelby. When Marisa originally scheduled her engagement session, she really wanted mid October, but my schedule this fall, like most photographers during this time of year, was completely packed! I felt bad we couldn’t schedule the session until November, but Marisa was the sweetest about it. I suggested, “Let’s trade the leaves for mountains!” She loved the idea, and everything worked out perfectly, there were still leaves on the trees, and the colors were absolutely beautiful!
Marisa and Zack met in high school in their geometry class during Marisa’s freshman year. After school one afternoon, Zack asked if she would be his girlfriend on their way to the bus, and they’ve been together ever since. Their engagement session was at Sunset Rock in Chattanooga, TN, and wow, this location is breathtaking! I must warn you, there isn’t any railing, and on a windy day, it can get pretty gusty. Zack isn’t a fan of the cold, so he shivered through the 30-something-degree temperatures for most of the session, but he was such a trooper!
Dustin was kind enough to tag along with me for this early morning adventure. We hit the road at 5:00 AM, and, as usual, Dustin fell asleep almost immediately, even though he volunteered to drive! I may have been the most annoying travel companion ever, with off-key singing, dancing in the car, and yes, even brushing my teeth while driving. After the session, we all needed breakfast, always my favorite part of the day! We had such a fun time getting to know Marisa and Zack, and I can’t wait for their wedding day. Marisa and Zack, thank you so much for traveling to Chattanooga for your session. I love these photos and can’t wait to celebrate with you both on your big day!
