Knoxville TN Outdoor Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Carissa and Travis’ wedding on April 29th in Knoxville, TN. From the moment I met Carissa over a year ago at Panera Bread, I knew this day would be special. We talked for hours about her life, Travis, and their engagement, happy tears included! Carissa’s kind heart and genuine spirit, paired with Travis’ humor and warmth, made capturing their day an absolute joy.

Their wedding day was a warm spring day in the 90s, much earlier than usual for Knoxville, but the heat didn’t dampen the celebration one bit. They incorporated so many meaningful and sentimental details that made their day uniquely theirs. From including their beloved dog Winston to bringing Carissa’s horses from home, it was a celebration full of love, laughter, and personal touches.

One of my favorite moments was during the ceremony when Carissa’s aunt gave a beautiful Indian blessing. Moments like these remind me why I became a wedding photographer, to capture genuine emotion, connection, and the stories that make each couple’s day unforgettable.
