Jonesborough TN Family Pictures at Jimmy Neal Park

I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing Miss Kennedy since she was just eight days old. Watching her grow into such a sweet, adventurous, and spunky young girl has been one of the true highlights of my work. She is funny, curious, and so adored by her family. Her mom Rachel and I go way back , we worked together in dentistry for years, so getting the chance to capture these moments means a lot to me.

For this session, we chose Jimmy Neal Park in Jonesborough, TN, a beautiful and family‑friendly space that makes a wonderful backdrop for family pictures. With lush green lawns, mature shade trees, and peaceful open areas, Jimmy Neal Park offers natural, relaxed settings for portraits and candid moments. Whether your family prefers posed photos or playful movement, this park provides a variety of scenic spots that photograph beautifully.

Kennedy was absolutely delightful during her session. At this age, children keep you guessing, and I truly enjoy embracing the unpredictable and joyful energy they bring. There were a few bribes of ice cream along the way to keep her smiling, and she did a great job, making for some really happy, heart‑felt images.

It’s always a treat to spend time with Rachel and her family. They are some of my favorite families to photograph, and each session feels like catching up with old friends. I am so thankful to capture these milestones and to watch Kennedy grow up through the lens. This session at Jimmy Neal Park was no exception, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the pictures turned out.
