Jackson Terminal Knoxville TN Wedding | Heather & Brent’s Downtown Knoxville Celebration

Heather and Brent were married on December 10th at Jackson Terminal, a unique industrial wedding venue located in downtown Knoxville, TN in the Old City. Jackson Terminal is such a cool space, full of character and charm, perfect for couples looking for a modern, industrial wedding in Knoxville.

This wedding was such a breath of fresh air for us to photograph. I don’t typically shoot a lot of industrial-style downtown Knoxville weddings, so this experience was especially fun and inspiring.

Heather and Brent’s story goes way back. They grew up together and attended the same middle school, but it wasn’t until Heather’s senior year, when she joined the powder puff football team and Brent was the coach, that they really got to know each other. One day after practice, Brent asked everyone for their phone numbers, secretly hoping to get Heather’s. After that, he started messaging her and they’ve been together ever since.

Brent is truly one of the sweetest grooms we’ve met this year. You can immediately see how much he cares for Heather when they’re together. I met him for the first time on their wedding day, and it didn’t take long to understand their connection. It was no surprise hearing the story of how he first said “I love you”, while they were playing hangman! Brent’s fun personality and kind heart made their day even more special.

This was my final wedding of the season, and Brooke and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the year. Heather and Brent were such a joy to work with, and their kindness made the entire day unforgettable.
