East TN Engagement Photographer | Keisha + Jake’s Surprise Proposal

Keisha and Jake are absolutely precious, and their story is one I’ll never forget. As an East TN engagement photographer, getting to capture moments like this is truly the best part of what I do.

I first met these two at a local bridal show before they were even engaged, they were just starting to dream about their wedding day. Fast forward a little while later, and I got the most exciting call from Jake while I was on vacation in Florida. He told me he was ready to propose and wanted to completely surprise Keisha with photos to capture the moment. Of course, I said yes immediately!

We spent the next few days planning every detail to make sure everything was just right.

The day of the proposal couldn’t have been more perfect. Brooke and I were tucked away hiding in the bushes, trying not to laugh while we waited for them to walk up (I felt so sneaky!). And when it finally happened, we both ended up in tears. It was such a genuine, emotional moment. Jake and Keisha have something really special. You can see it in the way they look at each other and the way they interact, there’s so much love, respect, and joy between them.

Keisha has the sweetest spirit. She’s kind, funny, and such a joy to be around. I already know she’s going to make the most beautiful bride. And Jake is just as incredible, so thoughtful and intentional. The way he looks at Keisha says everything about how much he loves her. Their wedding will be at Grace Meadows Farm this June, and I am so excited to celebrate alongside them as their East Tennessee wedding photographer. I already know it’s going to be such a joyful, love filled day, and I can’t wait to meet all of their friends and family.
