East TN Elopement Photographer | Waterfall Wedding in Fall Branch TN | Amanda & Efferd
As an East TN elopement photographer serving the Tri-Cities TN area, I get to witness some incredibly meaningful wedding days, but Amanda and Efferd’s intimate waterfall elopement in Fall Branch, Tennessee was truly something special.
Their wedding day started at their home in Fall Branch, TN, where I arrived around 10 AM. In true small-town Tennessee fashion, Efferd had me laughing within minutes. When I pulled up, he was outside working and jokingly asked if I was there to buy hay, which immediately made me question if I had somehow ended up at the wrong location (which, honestly, wouldn’t be surprising for me!). After a quick laugh, he assured me I was in the right place, and I knew right away the day was going to be full of joy.
Before the wedding, Amanda shared in her questionnaire that they were planning something simple, and that’s exactly what made their day so beautiful. As a Tri-Cities TN elopement photographer, I can confidently say that some of the most meaningful weddings are the ones that focus less on production and more on connection. Amanda and Efferd’s day was centered around what truly mattered: their love and commitment to each other.
Their ceremony took place at a breathtaking waterfall just minutes from their home in Fall Branch. If you’re searching for a waterfall elopement in East Tennessee, this is exactly why so many couples choose this area—the natural beauty here is unmatched. The sound of the water, the peaceful setting, and the intimacy of the moment made their ceremony feel incredibly personal and unforgettable.
After they said “I do,” we explored their property for portraits, riding around in Efferd’s truck and stopping at different spots across their farm. This is one of the things I love most about being an East Tennessee elopement photographer, every location tells a story, especially when it’s a place that means something to the couple.
Amanda and Efferd were absolute troopers throughout the day. If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember I was dealing with walking pneumonia at the time, and their kindness did not go unnoticed. They were so thoughtful and patient, and it truly meant a lot.
Their reception was held the following day at Allandale Mansion Pavilion in Kingsport, TN. While I wasn’t able to photograph the reception due to another booking, my talented friend Sarah Colombo of Sarah Colombo Photography captured their celebration beautifully.
Amanda and Efferd, thank you both so much for trusting me to document your East TN waterfall elopement. Your day was a reminder that weddings don’t have to be elaborate to be deeply meaningful. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it and can’t wait to see all that the future holds for you both.
