Charlotte NC Uptown Engagement Photographer | Ashley + David

Ashley and David’s engagement session took place in Charlotte, NC near the Uptown district, and as a Charlotte NC uptown engagement photographer, I absolutely love when I get to photograph in this part of the city.

I arrived early that morning, hoping and praying the rain would hold off. Of course, halfway to the session, the skies opened up and the rain started coming down! We waited it out, and thankfully it passed just in time for us to continue, and it ended up being such a fun and beautiful session.

Even with the humidity from the rain, Ashley and David were total troopers. They never complained once and just leaned into the moment together. Their connection is so natural, and you can see it in every image, the way they smile at each other is incredibly sweet and genuine.

Ashley looked absolutely stunning in her red dress. It was the perfect choice for an Uptown Charlotte engagement session and photographed beautifully against the city backdrop. I may or may not have left this session wishing I had somewhere to wear a dress like that so I could twirl through the city too.

There’s something so special about photographing couples in Uptown Charlotte. The mix of city energy, architecture, and romantic moments makes every session feel unique and timeless.

I am so in love with how Ashley and David’s engagement photos turned out, and I truly hope to do more sessions in Uptown Charlotte in the future. I always enjoy my time in this beautiful city, and sessions like this are exactly why.
