Charlotte NC Engagement Photographer | Freedom Park + Romare Bearden Park Session

Let’s start by saying how absolutely adorable Tab and Sarah are! As a Charlotte NC engagement photographer, sessions like this are exactly why I love what I do.

We photographed their engagement session in two iconic Charlotte locations, starting at Freedom Park and ending downtown at Romare Bearden Park right at sunset. The combination of lush greenery and city skyline made for the perfect mix of romantic and modern engagement photos.

At first, I honestly thought the weather might not cooperate with us. We actually had to reschedule once due to rain, and with a 90% chance of storms leading up to the session, we were both a little nervous. Thankfully, Charlotte had other plans for us. The rain cleared, the skies opened up, and we ended up with the most beautiful golden hour light for their engagement session.

Freedom Park gave us the dreamiest natural backdrop with soft greenery and peaceful walking paths, while Romare Bearden Park brought in the perfect city energy with skyline views and a glowing sunset to end the session. Tab and Sarah were so easy to photograph. Watching them together, laughing, talking, and just enjoying the moment, made this session feel effortless and fun from start to finish.
