Charlotte NC Botanical Garden Engagement Photographer | Jami + Edwin

I had the absolute joy of photographing Jami and Edwin’s engagement session a few weeks ago at the beautiful Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden near Charlotte, NC. As a Charlotte NC engagement photographer, this is one of my favorite locations for romantic, garden-style sessions.

Funny enough, I don’t know what it is, but every time I plan a trip to Charlotte for a session or wedding, the forecast tries to bring rain with it! This time was no different. We originally had to reschedule due to weather, but I’m so glad we did. The wait was completely worth it because we ended up with the most perfect day, and even more blooms than we expected.

Jami looked absolutely stunning in her lavender dress. I don’t get to photograph lavender tones often, so I was extra excited when I saw her outfit choice. It photographed so beautifully among the soft florals and greenery, can we make lavender a wedding engagement trend?

Charlotte, NC is one of my favorite places to photograph couples. I truly love booking weddings and engagement sessions in the Charlotte area. And if you know me personally or follow along on Instagram, you probably also know I can’t visit Charlotte without stopping at IKEA, it’s basically tradition at this point!

Jami and Edwin were such a dream to photograph. They are so natural together, and you can genuinely hear their laughter just by looking at their images. Their connection made this session effortless and so much fun from start to finish.

I am especially excited for their upcoming wedding this October at Villa Nove Vineyards. It’s going to be an incredible celebration, and I cannot wait to document their day as their wedding photographer.
