Carvers Gap Roan Mountain Engagement Session | Kelly & Carlson in East Tennessee

I am so excited to share Kelly and Carlson’s Carvers Gap engagement session at Roan Mountain in East Tennessee! These two are absolutely wonderful, and it was such a joy getting to spend time with them in one of the most beautiful mountain locations in Tennessee.

We made the drive up to Carvers Gap together, where I was in charge of directions… which somehow turned into us missing our turn and going a bit too far (no surprise if you know me!). Honestly, it worked out perfectly because it gave us extra time to talk, laugh, and get to know each other before their engagement session began.

When we arrived at Roan Mountain, we were met with incredibly windy and cold weather, pretty typical for Carvers Gap! The wind was so strong that Kelly had tears streaming down her face, which actually led to a hilarious video she made during the session. Even with the chilly temperatures, these two were amazing sports and fully embraced the experience.

Carvers Gap is known for its stunning mountain views, grassy balds, and breathtaking scenery, and it made the perfect backdrop for Kelly and Carlson’s engagement photos. The natural beauty of Roan Mountain combined with their sweet, joyful connection made this session truly unforgettable.

Despite the cold and wind, this engagement session was absolutely worth it. I had the best time capturing these moments, and I’m even more excited for their upcoming wedding celebration.
