Truthfully, it doesn’t get more beautiful than family photos in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.

The Family

Pasha and Natalia are fellow photographers based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. You can check out Pasha’s Instagram page here. They have two gorgeous daughters Maya and Yeva, who made it clear they much prefer Dollywood over Disney World. Can you believe that? This was their first time traveling to Pigeon Forge and, to be perfectly honest, they picked the best time of the year to do so. Seeing the Great Smoky Mountains in the fall is something everyone should experience in their life at least once. Renting a cabin tucked in the mountains of Gatlinburg needs to be on every family’s vacation bucket list.

Honestly, it is so much fun to photograph other photographers. Not only do they know how to position themselves and understand lighting situations, but they also understand color. Dressing for family portraits can be tricky and stressful, especially when you have children. Pasha, Natalia, and the girls nailed their look. Their outfits were complementary to each other and even the environment surrounding them. The key is to not match too much. Wear colors that are within the same family but not exactly alike.

With that being said, do not let it stress you too much. At the end of the day, it’s really about capturing your family exactly as they are in that moment. Those are memories you will cherish no matter what outfit you are wearing.
