The Social Kingsport TN Wedding

Alex and Austin were married March 10th! This was our first wedding of the season! After having a winter break I couldn’t think of a better way to start off my wedding season than with these two!

I am always reminded after every wedding, that I do believe this is what I’m supposed to be doing. There is a heart feeling that is hard to explain when I’m finished. It’s a heart filled with gratitude and thankfulness. I would be lying if I said I didn’t throw on some sappy lovey music and look at my finished wedding galleries, because I do that, and I’m ok admitting it.

Their wedding ceremony was located at a church in Weber City Virginia, and their reception was located at The Social in downtown Kingsport TN.

I am in love with everything from this wedding! The colors, the people, and those cutie ring bearer, and flower girl will have my heart forever! So cute!!!

I have really enjoyed getting to know these two, and laughing with Alex about our childhood awkwardness, and my little boy husky jeans, nintendo glasses, and mushroom hair cut. Yes, that was me, and I loved sharing that with her 🙂 (I periodically show that on insta stories, so stay tuned).

Some of my favorite moments from their wedding day was during their ceremony. The one of her dad looking at her when they were finished lighting their unity candle is my favorite! I’m printing it and hanging it in my office, because that to me is a reminder of why we photographers do this. It’s not about all the details, it’s not about how much money one spends on a wedding day. It is, and will always be about the love and commitment that our couples devote to each other for a lifetime. That is powerful!

Alex and Austin, thank you both for choosing us be there for you on your wedding day! I have loved getting to know you two, and I can’t wait to see what your future holds!
