I am so excited to finally share these on the blog! Alex had the most beautiful wedding last weekend! This has been one of my favorite bridal sessions!
I chose Allandale Mansion for Alex’s bridal session, because I love the rich tones, and romantic feel this home brings. It may also be a favorite of mine, because that’s where Dustin and I got married 10 years ago, now almost 11 in May 🙂 . That makes me feel old!!!
When we were discussing an indoor location for portraits for her bridal session I immediately thought of Allandale. When I arrived it was like her dress was made for it! I hadn’t seen her dress beforehand, and I was just blown away by how everything flowed nicely together!
Last year I decided to incorporate flash photography into my film work. I invested in an Alien Bee strobe and softbox. It’s my go to for portraits! It has made such a difference when it comes to indoor lighting situations. I’m really proud of this in my most nerdy way! My goal was to still keep working with flash consistent with my natural light work, and I’ve done so well bringing them together to be cohesive and consistent!
I’m so excited to show you their wedding in a few weeks! Everything was absolutely gorgeous!
I adore Instagram, and Insta- stories even more! I share the good, bad, and ugly. With real life talks, to products and clothes that I love, and of course everything related to photography!
