I met Carissa a little over a year ago. If you don’t know her personally, once you meet her, she is someone that you will never forget. We first met at Panera Bread. We talked about everything, and believe it or not we talked for hours. Carissa told me all about Travis and how he proposed at her graduation party, and we just sat there and cried together (happy tears of course).

Carissa is a nurse, and I can see why she chose that for her career. She has one of the kindest hearts, and she truly loves each and every person that she meets. The first time I met Travis was at their engagement session. He kept me laughing the whole time! Travis has such a good heart as well. If you have ever been around people that make your heart happy, these two are a match!

Brooke and I really enjoyed being with them and their families on their wedding day. Their wedding took place on April 29th at Sundance Farm and Event Center located in Knoxville, TN. The weather was in the 90’s that day! I’m still kind of shocked, we usually don’t reach those kind of temperatures until the end of May!

I loved so many things about their wedding day. Carissa and Travis had so many sentimental details. Some of my favorite things about their wedding day was their dog Winston, and Carissa brought her horses from home. My absolute favorite was during their ceremony. Carissa’s aunt gave an Indian blessing.

Travis and Carissa, I just adore you both! You both are such a joy to be around, and I think the world of you two. Wishing you both all the love and happiness.
