Chateau Selah Wedding

For “year in review” today I’m talking about Paula and Brian’s wedding this past August at Chateau Selah. Chateau Selah is a gorgeous luxury venue located in East Tennessee. This venue is a perfect place for weddings, social gatherings, and parties.

I really loved working with Paula and Brian. They both are so sweet, kind, and their families are precious!

What I loved about their wedding

1. I loved Paula’s floral design. All the flowers were so pretty and complimented the deep purple so well!
2. My FAVORITE thing about their ceremony was the wine box. Brian and Paula wrote each other letters. They wrote about how they felt about marring each other. They didn’t read these letters, instead they placed them in their wine box. As a tradition they will open this box, read their letters, and drink the wine on their fifth anniversary. They will continue to do this every five years. That is one of the sweetest traditions I have had at a wedding thus far. What a wonderful way to keep reliving your wedding day in that way.
3. I loved their reception music! Paula’s family is from Brazil. I loved that they incorporated music from their country for dancing.
4. The center pieces at the reception were handmade by Paula using wine corks for the table numbers.
5. Paula custom made lavender soup for wedding favors for all her guests. She has even started selling her creations on Etsy. Click here to check it out!
