Sunset Rock Chattanooga TN Engagement Pictures

I got connected with Marisa through one of my brides for next year Shelby (check out Shelby’s engagement session here). When Marisa originally scheduled her engagement session she really wanted mid October, but my schedule this October, like most photographers during this time of year, was CRAZY!

I felt bad we couldn’t schedule the session until November, but Marisa was the sweetest about it! I said, lets trade the leaves for mountains! She agreed and loved the idea! Everything worked out perfect, there were leaves still on trees and the colors were still pretty!

Marisa and Zack met while they were in high school in their geometry class Marisa’s freshman year. After school on their way to the bus one afternoon Zack asked if she would be his girlfriend and they have been together since.

Marisa and Zack’s engagement session was at Sunset Rock in Chattanooga TN. Sunset Rock is breathtaking! I must warn you there isn’t any railing and on a windy day it can get pretty gusty! Zack hates to be cold, bless his heart, so he shivered in the 30 something degrees for most of the session, but I must say he was such a trooper about it!

Dustin was so nice to tag along on this session with me. We road down that morning at 5:00 AM. One thing about Dustin is that he falls asleep through everything, yet he volunteered to drive. WHY DID I LET HIM DRIVE? So, the whole way there he was nodding off! My survival mode kicked in and I must admit I might be the most annoying travel companion ever! Lot’s of singing out of key, rave dancing, and even brushing my teeth happened on the way there!

After their session we all needed breakfast! I always say it’s the best part of the day! Dustin and I have a favorite place called The Bitter Alibi it’s located downtown in Chattanooga, it’s seriously the best! Marisa and Zack agreed to join us. We had the best time with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding day!

Marisa and Zack, thank you both so much for traveling to Chattanooga for your pictures! I love your pictures and I can’t wait to be there for you both on your wedding day!
