Christopher Place Resort Newport TN Wedding

Kelly and Chris were married on November 4th at The Christopher Place Resort, located in Newport Tennessee. The Christopher Place Resort is a bed and breakfast that also serves as a wedding venue overlooking the beautiful Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee.

This was a destination wedding for Kelly and Chris they are both from Mississippi and it was about an eight hour drive for them to travel to East Tennessee, this little place I like to call home.

I remember the first conversation Kelly and I had over the phone when we talked about her wedding. Kelly is just so down to earth and such a sweetheart. I met Chris for the first time on their wedding day and he was the same. I could see why these two found each other. They complete each other in everyway. Both so kind hearted and you could see the beautiful connection they have for each other.

I could tell these two were really close with their families. They had a small intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. Some local and some of them traveled.

Some of the things I loved about Kelly’s wedding were her details. I love when a bride incorporates pieces that have meaning! Kelly wore her sisters hair comb that she wore at her wedding. Kelly also had a special gold ring from her grandmother that was tied with the lace that come from her dress on her bridal bouquet, and I can’t forget to mention those blue shoes!! I love blue shoes! Especially if they have jewels on them :).

For a November day the weather was so perfect for an outdoor wedding! It felt so nice in the 70’s. Kelly and Chris couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day! Brooke and I had so much fun getting to know these two and their families. Kelly even gave us a piece of cake to take with us before we headed out!

Kelly and Chris, thank you both for having me share this time with you. Brooke and I had a lot of fun at your wedding! Many blessing to you in your marriage.
