It has been such a crazy October! We have had really mild weather lately in East TN for the Fall season. The day of Lexi and Tyler’s engagement session it was 80 degrees, and it was mid October! We did their engagement session at Beauty Spot located in Erwin TN.

The first time I really got to hang out with Lexi and Tyler was at this session. Lexi and Tyler actually kind of met on social media. Tyler messaged Lexi and tried to get her to meet him for about 3 months until she decided to meet him at a restaurant where he worked. She didn’t plan on seeing him again after that night, but Lexi’s mom talked her into going out on a date with Tyler. On their first date the plan was to see a movie, but they spent the night talking instead. They have been together since.

So I’m going to tell on myself here, my mom thought it was hilarious so I feel like you guys will too. If you know me I’m just real, and I’m just honest. The drive to Erwin is about an hour for me.

On the way there I decided to eat chocolate (I LOVE chocolate) and drink a whole bottle of water. I met Tyler and Lexi at Walgreens in downtown Erwin so I could follow them there since I haven’t been there.

I thought when I got there that I would be ok to follow them up to Beauty Spot and use the restroom there. Well FIY Beauty Spot has no restroom!! So we are driving up and I am dying!! I think to myself ok, this is are first official hello really, and I have to go to the bathroom in a bush, I’m going to have to do it I tell myself. I knew I couldn’t do their session without it!

So I swallow my pride and start honking my horn and flagging them to stop. I get out, I tell them that this is the most redneck thing I think I’ve done all day, but I have to go to the bathroom in the bushes back there!! We all laughed and Lexi’s mom assured me it was totally ok because we were in Carter County.

At that moment I knew I would love these two and really their families as well! We had so much fun at their session, and I don’t even mind that I had to break the ice in that way!

Lexi and Tyler, thank you both for just being fun! You two are the best! I had a blast with you both and I can’t wait for your wedding!
