Amanda and Efferd were married on a Friday. I arrived around 10 AM at their home located in Fall Branch TN. Efferd was outside working when I pulled up and he asked me if I was there to buy hay. The story of my life is that I am directionally challenged! So of course I thought I was at the wrong place. That is natural for me, you know. I began to ask him if he was Efferd and if there was a wedding there today. He giggled and said no I’m just selling hay! Then he said he was kidding and we both laughed.

Before Amanda and Efferd’s wedding I sent Amanda my questionnaire I send out before every wedding to help her with her timeline for the day. I loved that she told me they were simple and she was so surprised at how simple they were. I really loved that about these two!

I know these two have waited a long time for this moment and there was something beautiful about this day being like everyday, only on this day they were getting married. I could tell how their love was pure and honest for each other.

They were married in front of an AMAZING waterfall just minutes from their home. After their ceremony we road around in Efferds truck and stopped at different locations on their farm for pictures.

These two were troopers and they were so good to me. If you follow me on Instagram, I spoke about getting walking pneumonia. After their wedding I left to go to the doctor. They were so good to me throughout!

Their reception was held the day after at Allandale Pavilion located in Kingsport TN. I wasn’t able to photograph their reception because I was booked for something else that day. My friend Sarah of Sarah Colombo Photography was able to photograph their reception. Check out her work here!

Amanda and Efferd, thank you both so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Being there with you two brought joy to my heart! I am so happy for you guys and I can’t to see what your future holds. Many blessings to you both!
