The intention yesterday was to post this Bridal session. I woke up at 5 AM, yes that’s early. Believe me, I hate mornings! I wanted yesterday to be this productive day. I would do everything I could possibly do before my son woke up. Well, none of that worked out for me. I woke up to find that my internet wasn’t working. A two hour phone conversation with my internet company and no resolution, the typical Monday mess that most of us encounter every now and again.
It was hard not to get upset over this, I was dying to have one of those diva toddler fits. Instead I chose Joy! It was hard, but I chose to see the better perspective in the situation. Instead of spending the morning working I ran errands and I spent the day with my little. We played, we visited friends, and we said goodbye to a sweet bride and one of the sweetest Grooms I’ve met, and their actually leaving for Germany today.
It’s amazing the beautiful connections and friendships I have become to know through all of this. I’m living proof that if you allow people into your life and you take the time to get to know them for who they are you will truly find a blessing in that.
With all that said, this brings me to Emily. We laugh and say we are soul sisters. She’s so fun and I love this girl so much!! I talked her into going to this lavender field for pictures and she was all for it! We were a few weeks shy of bloom season because her wedding was on June 17 (check out her wedding by clicking here). Despite that, I loved the ethereal colors from the lavender stalks, and of course it smelled amazing!!
I hope everyone has a great week, and if your Monday wasn’t as glorious as you hoped, don’t sweat the small stuff and embrace the crazy 😉
With love,
Michelle
