Roan Mountain TN Engagement Photography

It was such a pretty day the day I took Sarah and Luke’s engagement pictures. The temperature was on point, not to hot or cold. I think for this session this was the most I have walked up on Roan Mountain.

Her mom found me on Facebook and contacted me about their wedding this July. I met with them for lunch and we discussed wedding details. We had so much in common! Sarah is going to school to be a Dentist and both her parents are Dentists. Before I became a photographer fulltime I was a Dental Assistant for 10 years! After we talked for awhile we started to recognize that we knew some of the same people.

Sarah and Luke were so much fun to hang out with! I loved hearing about their wedding day plans! Luke loves fly fishing, to incorporate that into their wedding he is making the guys boutonnieres out of fish hooks and a deep purple feathers.

I don’t know much about fishing so I can’t give specifics on what all the materials are, but I will tell you I got to hold one of them and it’s so pretty! I love when couples incorporate things that they love into their wedding details!

Their wedding will be held at Grace meadows Farm, located in Jonesborough TN in July. I love Grace Meadows! The backdrop there is so pretty and I LOVE the new additions they have done to the barn.

Sarah and Luke, Thank you both so much for letting me share this special time with you. I can’t wait for your wedding! I’m so excited for you both!
