The Brides bouquet why it is important
I often get this question asked, maybe not in this context but it’s defiantly thought about, and my opinion on the matter is always asked. So I thought today I would explain a few things that maybe haven’t really been thought about when your trying to decide on flowers and the budget for flowers.
The Brides bouquet is one of the most important investments you can make on your wedding day!! I know it maybe just flowers to some, but I am going to break it down into why this arrangement is a pretty big deal!
3 ways that make your bouquet more valuable
- If you think about it, this bouquet is going to be in every picture! You are going to hang these pictures on your walls and your parents are going to do the same.
- You can use your bouquet at your reception as a center piece. Hello, saving some money! If I could do the emoji with the high five hands I would totally put that here 😉 !
- Your photographer can take your bouquet and style it in ways that makes your reception and getting ready room look like you had more flowers, remember I talked about the bridal prep room a few weeks ago check out that post here.
3 ways to keep your bouquets cost effective
- Your bridesmaids don’t need a big bouquet! They also don’t need every flower that you have in yours. They defiantly need a bouquet that coordinates, but if your on a tight budget you can always leave out certain flowers and still get the look you want. Besides, your bouquet needs to stand out! Your the Bride and this is your day!
- You can also use your bridesmaids bouquets for arrangements at your reception! After the ceremony and pictures your coordinator or planner will take the bouquets and place them on tables at your reception. The best part is that no one will notice! Your guests are so excited that they just watched you marry your best friend they aren’t looking to see what flowers are on the tables! By the end of the cocktail hour your guests will arrive and your bouquets will already be in place!
- Lastly if you want certain flowers that are hard to find make sure you talk and book your florist in a timely manner so they can find the best flowers at a good rate, and get them in time for your wedding.
I hope this helps as you continue to plan for your big day!
Happy wedding planning 🙂
With love,
Michelle
