I met Kristin and Jamie a few months ago at The Pink bridal show. Kristin and Jamie are the owners of The Bramble a wedding venue located in Erwin TN. These two women are such an inspiration and I thought their story needed to be heard.

Brooke and I had just got finished hauling in all of my stuff for the bridal show (check out all the “stuff” here). After we changed we noticed these two cute women that were dressed AMAZING! We knew we would just love them!

After we talked for awhile I realized how AMAZING both of these women really are. God has truly blessed me this past year, by allowing me to get to know other business owners and hearing their stories has been a true inspiration in my life.

Kristin, Jamie, and their two families bought The bramble when Kristin was pregnant with her forth child Lillian. Kristin had a healthy pregnancy and delivery, but after Lillian was born something wasn’t right. After many hours of testing Lucas (Kristen’s husband) drove Kristen and her new baby girl Lillian to Cincinnati where she thought would be a short trip that ended up being a year!

Lillian at only 2 weeks old was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer! During this time they had started completely renovating The Bramble. Jamie stepped in and made decisions for the both of them during this time.

Lillian just celebrated her first birthday and is cancer free! They celebrated at The Bramble, check out her story here!

Jamie is also a strong woman of faith. A few years ago she had a little boy named Samuel he only lived for a short time after he was born. I was at The Bramble one day talking to Jamie and she talked with me about Samuel, she told me that there was a group of volunteers called Now I lay me down to sleep, she didn’t know that I had been contemplating on sending in my resume to volunteer for this organization.

I know God placed that on her heart to share for me. I needed to hear her story about this group because they came for her and Samuel and took pictures so she could have a beautiful memory. I have tears in my eyes thinking about these two amazing women. They are so strong and they have the best hearts! They love their community and they love this venue. It’s not hard to see that their hearts are all over it!

If your looking for a venue that has a downtown classy feel this is where you need to be! These ladies will be so good to you throughout the process of your wedding planning experience. They both truly care about you and I know you will fall in love with them and the venue!
