Door County WI destination wedding portrait photographer

Last week I traveled to Two Rivers Wisconsin to help my friend Karen of Karen Ann Photography to photograph a wedding at Lambeau Field! This past week has went by so fast, and to be honest I have been going non stop since I got back from my trip to Wisconsin. So I apologize for no blog posts this past week!

I’m dedicating this post to Karen and how AMAZING she is! I met Karen last year at Julie Paisley’s workshop. She asked everyone in our group if someone in the group would be willing to pick her up so she wouldn’t have to rent a car. Most everyone was coming from different directions. I decided to swing by on my way down, with not even talking on the phone just a simple text we exchanged “selfies”.

Here we are a year later and she’s become a close friend. We FaceTime at least twice a week if not everyday when we aren’t busy, and now we can say we have worked together. I’m excited for her visit in June so she can see why I love and call this little town home. I can’t wait for her to experience 2 southern weddings while she’s here!

Karen is also a film photographer like myself and her style is very similar to mine. She travels all across the United States to photograph weddings and some internationally. She’s very kind hearted and speaks the truth in love. I love that about Karen. I know I can call on her and she will give me good advice whether I want to hear it or not. She is honest, trustworthy, and loving.

We tried to pack as much into my visit as possible. We visited all the little towns in Door County and stopped for cheese and wine along the way. We even decided to dress up and take each other’s headshots! The same day we also took their family pictures and I thought we all might freeze!
