The past few weeks I’ve noticed a spike in wedding inquiries. I felt like this would be the perfect opportunity to give some helpful tips on the first steps of planning your wedding.

I remember planning my own wedding 9 years ago this May, I can’t believe it’s been that long!! I just remember being so overwhelmed with everything I had no clue where to start!

When I was getting married I only had the choice of a wedding planning book and my sweet sister of course bought me one 🙂 . Now there’s so many choices on choosing a great wedding planning guide, that alone can be overwhelming!

I recently received an email from Julissa at Wedding Paper Diva’s about a new guide they just published on their website for brides. If you don’t follow Wedding Paper Diva’s on social media you need to! I love their Instagram , Facebook, and Pinterest for inspiration! They are always sharing great ideas for your wedding!

I’ve been searching for a long time for a guide like this! I love that they thought of every detail and that’s so important when your planning for your wedding. There is a lot that goes into the process it’s so easy to forget something!

I love that this is a 12 month planning guide! Most of my brides plan a year or longer in advance. I think planning at least 12 months in advance is a really good idea and less stressful. You have more time to really think about your decisions and it goes by so fast!!
