It was a rainy day when we headed up to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park located in Gatlinburg, TN.  Laura and Drew used to go camping here a lot. I completely understand why.  I am in LOVE with this place! This place reminds me of Lord of the rings.. we laughed over the thoughts of a hobbit following us around (Yes I mentioned that and I’m kind of geeky in that way). Despite the rain during their session we didn’t let it get us down. I think we all can say we had a pretty good time laughing and hanging out in the woods. The rain started getting heavy as we were walking around so we decided to travel to a different location that wasn’t as dark. My film loving heart really wanted to shoot film to be honest.

I have a big heart for Cades Cove I travel there often for sessions this time of year. I love scenery, fields, and flowers Cades Cove never disappoints 🙂 . I’m so glad we went even though we saw three bears and got chased by a coyote. Literally no joke a coyote ran towards us and we had to hop over the fence! After the coyote ran in the bushes I thought I could grab a quick ring shot with the yellow flowers, but we kept hearing something in there and we weren’t able to get it because we all envisioned this big coyote jumping out at us lol. The suspense was real! Despite the crazy coyote and the bears my heart melted over the clouds at sunset. I’m sure Drew and Laura thought I was a crazy camera lady in the back of their car yelling STOP this is perfect! It was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t be happier 🙂 .

Laura and Drew your session made me realize how happy pictures make me and why I love what I do. The anticipation of waiting on film is absolutely worth everything to me and you two believe it or not made me come to the realization of finding my “happy place”. I can’t wait to watch you walk down the isle Laura, and Drew I can’t wait to see the smile on your face when you see Laura for the first time on that day! Thank you both for helping me realize all of these things 🙂 .
