A piece of my heart

Photography brings so much joy to my heart. I know to some of you pictures are just pictures. I know what it means to feel that way because I to once felt like that. I was never the girl in school who carried a camera around. I honestly could have cared less if I ever had my picture made or even to look at pictures in general. It really wasn’t until a few years ago I picked up my first camera and I fell in love. Over the past four years God has really showed me what love looks like. It sounds crazy to think this ordinary thing to some could make such a big impact on my life. But it has in the form of love. I have fallen in love with people and the connections we have with one another. For me, photography is about two people that want to grow old together, friends and family coming together on a wedding day, families hugging and laughing. I don’t just see a person. I see someone that means something to someone else. I see what love looks like.
