Harvest Acres Farm wedding venue Limestone TN
This past January I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at Harvest Acres Farm wedding venue. Click here to check out Jeff and Carrie’s wedding, it was perfect! I fell in love while I was there and I think you guys will too!
Harvest Acres Farm is a wedding venue located in Limestone, TN. Harvest Acres is a farm/barn wedding venue with several locations and settings on the property to have your ceremony and reception. This venue accommodates 200 people, has a fully equipped kitchen, and your choice of caterer is welcome there. One feature that I’m in love with is the huge working stone fireplace located in the middle of the barn. The stone to build the fireplace was repurposed from an old home on the property dating back to the 1800s.
This fireplace makes for an amazing focal point to your wedding or reception. I love how they repurposed an old oak tree that had fallen on the property for the mantel. It photographs so well!!!
They custom built the barn keeping a historical perspective in mind. They used all local materials and contractors, along with using a circle saw from a local saw mill, which has given the barn it’s unique look and rustic texture that it has today.
They spared no expense or detail by adding eastern red cedar wood cut in the Virginia mountains for the interior walls of the barn. Inside the barn they have antiques from generations past displayed in a unique way giving this barn the feel of home.
Rumor has it that during the era of Davey Crocket an old road on the property behind the barn, was traveled in the early 1800’s during the Indian wars. From a photographer’s perspective the light is amazing. I’m referring to the sunset at Harvest Acres Farm. Even in January when everything was cold and grey. There was life here at Harvest Acres! The perfect backdrop to your amazing wedding!
If you haven’t picked your wedding venue yet be sure to visit Harvest Acres Farm wedding venue! I fell in love and I think you will too 🙂
With love,
