Laura & Drew’s Johnson City TN The Gallery Wedding

I met Drew and Laura a few years ago when I photographed Drew’s sisters wedding. I remember thinking how sweet they both were. The first time I sat down with Laura for dinner to talk about her wedding I instantly fell in love with her! I think we ended up talking for 3 hours and the majority of that time wasn’t even about the wedding. I really consider both Drew and Laura friends and they will always hold a special place in my heart for sure.

Drew and Laura met through mutual friends. I loved hearing their families talk at the reception about their love for each other that truly made my heart melt. They both are genuinely kind hearted people that are so deserving of this happiness they have found in each other.

Their wedding was held at The Gallery located in Johnson City, TN within the restaurant Portico. The Gallery is a very upscale modern facility with industrial flair. I loved the exposed brick, stately fireplace, and the beautiful chandeliers.

They both got ready at the Carnegie Hotel just a few minutes down the road. Laura’s makeup artist was Ren from Faces by Ren. She did an AMAZING job! I just loved her personality and she had such a calming spirit about her that filled the room.

Lisa of Posh Productions was such a great help the day of the wedding. She did a fantastic job decorating and keeping everyone on time.

The floral design was by a dear friend of mine Travis from The Potter’s Shed located in Church Hill, TN. He blew me away with his floral design for Laura and Drew!

Drew and Laura, I just love you both! I can’t wait for your ever after session at the end of the month. Many blessings to you both! Love you two 🙂
