Rodan and Fields Microdermabrasion Paste
Today for R+F Monday I’m sharing all the details about Micro-Dermabrasion Paste! I took pictures of it with the Intensive Renewing Serum and the Lip Renewing Serum because we often give these as samples. The overall benefit will be noticed immediately, so don’t underestimate the power of this sample if you ever get one!
What is Micro-Dermabrasion Paste?
Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is a high-glide, oil-free formula designed to help promote maximum gentle exfoliation and leave your skin feeling more smooth. Recommended use occasionally 1-3 times a week to visibly improve skin tone and texture.
How can I use this?
There are many ways to use the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste. Like mentioned before we often give this as a sample, because the results are somewhat immediate. Your skin will feel the softest it’s ever felt, and it will appear “glowing”. It’s hard to explain until you experience it for yourself.
Once a month I have hormonal breakouts (thank you nature, and my love of chocolate). There’s a few ways I love using the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste.
- If I’m having hormonal breakouts I like using the Micro-Dermabrasion Paste first, then rinsing as normal. I then follow up with the Unblemish step 1 and I use it like a mask. I let the Unblemish step one sit for 5-10 minutes before I rinse, and then I follow up with either the Active Hydration Serum, or step 2 from the Soothe line.
- If I want a “mini facial” I will use Micro-Dermabrasion Paste, then use Redefine step 1 like normal, and then follow up with the Intensive Renewing Serum.
- The Micro-Dermabrasion Paste is also good for dry areas like heels, and elbows if winter or summer isn’t treating those areas well. I like to follow up with lotion. My favorite lotion is handmade by For the Love of Suds click here to read more on that. I haven’t tried R+F lotion yet, so I will keep you posted on my thoughts when I do! For now check out For the Love of Suds! I’m obsessed with the scent Jelly Donut, yum! If she doesn’t have Jelly Donut in stock, just ask and she will make it!
Who should not use Micro-Dermabrasion Paste?
You shouldn’t use Micro-Dermabrasion Paste if you have extremely sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me, but if you have really sensitive skin I would take caution, because it is an abrasive product. If you do still want to try it I would recommend using this with a little water mixed in to make it less abrasive to see how you react to it.
Lip Renewing Serum- Since I did take a pictures of it. I should probably share a little about it.
Lip Renewing Serum is rich with peptides and vitamin E, this serum helps lips retain their natural moisture, visibly smooths lip texture and reduces the appearance of lip wrinkles.
- I’ve been using this when we play out in the snow, or when I’m taking pictures outside in windy, or cold conditions. My lips get so dry when I shoot in the cold months, and I’ve noticed a big difference in keeping them protected using this for those situations. Also, big tip use half the amount so you get another use out of it!
